Simrane reinterprets a classic: the silk scarf. To tie around your neck, drape over your shoulders, or tuck into your hair.
Our designs are hand-printed using wooden blocks on 100% silk twill in Gujarat, in western India. Block printing on silk is now very rare and requires the skill of an expert artisan. The wooden block, loaded with ink, applies color to the soft, flowing silk, producing a result that no machine can match.
The four patterns and their borders are drawn from the Simrane archives; they run across the scarves, whose edges are carefully hand-rolled for even greater softness. They come in two colors: silver gray and deep green and are available in two sizes.
