Who are we?
Simrane was born in 1970 after Paul Comar’s first trip to India. Since then, and thanks to meetings with families of passionate craftsmen in Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Mumbai, Simrane has devoted itself to creating unique hand-printed textiles and to promoting crafts that are just as unique.
With colour as our guide, we have forged strong links with the same families of craftsmen from day one. Know-how and the pleasure of creation handed down from generation to generation.
Hand in hand with these talented partners – in Paris and under the Indian sun – we create more than 25 exclusive designs every year.
The colours, designs and traditional techniques we use pay homage to an age-old art of living that inspires us every day.
Our Home, Ready-to-Wear and Accessories collections are hand-printed using carved wooden blocks and made to the rhythm of the seasons. Simrane is an authentic, family-run brand that offers limited-edition creations while taking the time to design each product with care.
