1. Are your fabrics handmade?

Our Home furnishings, Ready to Wear and Accessories collections are hand-printed using carved wooden blocks and made to the rhythm of the seasons. Simrane is an authentic, family-run brand that offers limited-edition creations while taking the time to design each product with care. Each piece is unique.

2. How to take care of your Simrane products?

At Simrane, we cherish the small irregularities in our prints, which are proof of their handcrafted quality. To ensure the longevity of our handmade products, here are a few simple tips adapted to each type of textile:

General care of our fabrics: Wash our cotton items by hand or in the washing machine at a low temperature (up to 40°C maximum) using a delicate cycle. Use a mild or organic detergent to preserve the brilliance of the colours and the softness of the fabrics. To avoid damaging the fibres, air-dry and avoid tumble-drying.

Fabrics printed with natural dyes: Before using them for the first time, wash fabrics printed with natural dyes separately at 30°C. Afterwards, treat them with similar colours as the rest of our collection, using a mild or organic detergent. Preserve the richness of their colours by avoiding prolonged exposure to sunlight or moonlight.

Quilted bedspreads: These pieces can be machine washed on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent, or taken to a professional for dry cleaning. To restore the volume of the quilting, place a tennis ball in the tumble dryer while drying.

Silk pieces: Silk is a delicate material, so we recommend dry cleaning to preserve its finesse and shine.
