The combination of Simrane prints and CSAO embroidery is as much an invitation to travel as it is a celebration of the artisans we work with in India and Senegal. The mini cushions are one of the new additions to our collaboration. Like all Simrane x CSAO products, they are printed and then embroidered entirely by hand.
Hand-printing gives the cushions their vibrant character, before the embroidery poetically highlights the floral details.
Each embroidery represents a day's work of talented women in Dakar who are empowering themselves socially and financially.
