The block-print technique is made possible by the expertise of our block engravers. Sometimes carved from teak blocks over 150 years old, our Kalamkari designs would not exist without the talent of these craftsmen. On several occasions, printers have to rinse fabrics to remove residues from the various printing stages. They remain there until the next morning, guarded by coconut trees.
